CK Rewind – May Edition
May was a month full of 4-day weeks, royal celebrations, and all things busy here at CK. From podcasts to new business units to a few too many cupcakes, lets rewind on the last 4 weeks at CustomerKNECT.
We kicked the month off with yet another collaboration with Canon, this time a ‘Print Matters’ podcast with Jacky Hobson and our Finance & Commercial Director Neil, to discuss finding and keeping printing talent. Neil dived into the struggles of finding and retaining talent in today’s business, sharing the benefits that really matter to employees, and why supporting colleagues at the start of their career can leave such a lasting impact. Improving our capabilities is an ongoing priority at CK and in light of this we are thrilled to officially announce the opening of our ‘Managed Services’ business unit (which is situated within our 140,000 sq ft main facility) to bring an additional level of security and service offerings to our customers. Our Managed Services facility will provide an array of services including:
📩 Paperless Office, Inbound Mail Scanning, Cherished Item Handling, Remote Outbound Mail, Cheque Processing.
🔐 Document Management, ID Verification, Fire Safe Storage, Secure Archive, Returns Handling.
🚛 Logistics & Fulfilment, PC Provisioning, Warehouse Storage, Fulfilment & Distribution, Operational Logistics.
Our capabilities will also support customers who are adapting to hybrid workflows, following from the consequences of Covid and office working, to provide solutions through the migration of a paperless and centralised head offices and support colleague requirements. We have also introduced a Bureau service which will cover secure storage, passport control, legal documents, and archives with safety and 100% integrity. Following on from our new Managed Services unit, we also launched our ‘Join Jen and Jordan’ recruitment scheme where we introduced several roles in the following areas to support our MS launch:

- Treasury Services Admin

Our Colleagues & Community
May was Mental Health Awareness Month with the w/c 15th being the official awareness week, here at CK we pride ourselves on raising awareness and supporting causes close to our hearts. We partnered up with The Mental Health Foundation to raise awareness in the work place on this year’s topic anxiety; anxiety is a common feeling that sometimes gets out of control and effects a person’s life day to day, it is one of the most common mental health problems we can face.
The Mental Health Foundation work to increase people’s awareness and understanding of anxiety and other mental health issues by providing information on causes, symptoms, prevention and helplines you can access to receive more tailored support.
To support the charity further, CK hosted its own ‘Wear it Green Day’ where our colleagues wore green to support the Mental Health Foundation, along with some green cupcakes and a day of fundraising – which resulted in us raising an incredible £192!!
