It is no secret in the industry that Royal Mail Wholesale prices have been increasing year on year, unfortunately we are now not only seeing a second increase in 2023 but a double digit one – set to rise on 2nd October 2023 let’s break it down. The price of Letter products is increasing by a blended average of 12.7%, more specifically we will see a 13.6% increase for Business Mail Letters and a 10% increase for Large Letters. Advertising Mail will also see an increase, 10.7% for Letters and 10% for Large Letters. As many of our customers are aware of, Royal Mail offer a Mailmark Economy Product which gives the customer greater choice with a wider delivery window for a lower price, Royal Mail have confirmed customers that take advantage of this service will receive lower price increases than customers using the equivalent standard services.
